iPad (2022) gets price cut in India: Check out new price here

Apple has reduced the price of the standard iPad in India after the launch of the updated iPad Air and iPad Pro. The company is expected to launch the successor of the standard iPad later this year.

Apple recently launched its updated iPad Pro and iPad Air in India. However, after the arrival of these new iPads, the company has reduced the price of the standard iPad that was launched in 2022. The successor to the standard iPad is expected to arrive later this year but interested customers can buy it at a lower price. Here are all the details you need to know. 

iPad (2022) India price and availability

The price of the iPad (10th generation) in India has been updated. The Wi-Fi model with 64GB of storage now starts at Rs. 34,900, down from its previous price of Rs. 39,900. The Wi-Fi + Cellular variant is now priced at Rs. 49,900, down from its previous price of Rs. 54,900. The 256GB storage configuration is now priced at Rs. 49,900 (Wi-Fi) and Rs. 64,900 (Wi-Fi + Cellular), down from their previous prices of Rs. 54,900 and Rs. 74,900, respectively. Customers can now purchase the iPad (2022) model in Blue, Pink, Silver, and Yellow colours from Apple's online store. The device can also be picked up at both Apple BKC and Apple Saket stores.

iPad (2022) specifications

In 2022, Apple released the 10th generation model of the iPad in India and worldwide. It is equipped with the A14 Bionic chip that was initially introduced in the iPhone 12. The company claims that the device delivers up to 20 percent better CPU performance and up to 10 percent better graphics performance than the previous model, the iPad (2021).

The iPad (2022) boasts a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display with a resolution of 1,640x2,360 pixels, and a peak brightness of up to 500 nits. It can be updated to iPadOS 17, and supports Wi-Fi 6 and 5G connectivity (optional). Additionally, it features a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle front-facing camera for selfies and video chats in landscape mode and a 12-megapixel wide-angle rear camera with the capability to record videos at up to 4K resolution.
