New Delhi: Shares of Jaiprakash Associates Ltd on Thursday slumped by as much as 19.5 per cent on trade after promoter entity Jaypee Infra Ventures Ltd sold 13 million shares in the company. This is company's biggest single-day fall since January 2009.
Traders cite speculation that promoters are reducing their stakes.
According to data available on the stock exchanges, Jaypee Infra sold 13.48 million shares of Jaiprakash Associates for Rs.62.40 crore through open market sale route.
