Riding his current majestic form, skipper Virat Kohli doesn't just win matches for India single-handedly, but also creates a flurry of records with his every single knock. Having scored his 14th ODI ton as captain on Sunday, Kohli outclassed all the Pakistan skippers, who have 12 centuries combined to their names.

The 29-year-old batsman made his 14th ODI hundred, scoring 140 runs off 107 balls in his 50th innings as India skipper. Overall Kohli has captained Indian team in 53 matches.

For Pakistan, former captain Azhar Ali has record three ODI tons to his name, while Inzamam-ul-Haq and Shahid Afridi have reached the triple figure twice during their captaincy. Shoaib Malik, Saeed Anwar, Aamer Sohail, Rameez Raja and Imran Khan have done it once while leading Pakistan.

Captain Kohli's 14 century has put him just one place behind former Australia skipper Ricky Ponting, who leads the list of most centuries as ODI captain with 22 tons.

On Sunday, India rode on Kohli's 36th ODI hundred and Rohit Sharma's sixth 150-plus knock to beat West Indies by eight wickets and take 1-0 lead in the five-match series.

Kohli also became the fastest batsman to score 60 international tons, surpassing legendary Sachin Tendulkar. The current skipper achieved this feat in 386 innings, whereas Tendulkar took 426 innings.

Playing his first ODI in more than three months, Kohli was unstoppable. It seemed another routine affair for Kohli as he also got past the milestone of 2000 International runs in the calendar year.

With this, he equalled a record set by batting legend Sachin Tendulkar, scoring more than 2,000 international runs in a calendar year for India for a record fifth time.

Apart from Kohli and Sachin, former skipper Sourav Ganguly made more than 2,000 runs four times while batting great Rahul Dravid achieved this feat thrice.

The Delhi-based batsman achieved this feat for a third successive year.
