Kejriwal promises to halve power bills in Delhi, provide 700 litres water daily free

Kaushambi:  Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo and party's  chief ministerial candidate Arvind Kejriwal is fast emerging as a force to reckon with in upcoming Delhi assembly elections, if various pre-poll surveys are to be believed.

Q: How many candidates you will be putting in coming Assembly elections? And how many seats do you expect to win?

Kejriwal:
AAP will file candidates in all 70 candidates. A recent survey says that we'll win 47 seats.

Q: How do you rate the performance of Sheila Dikshit government?

Kejriwal: Sheila Dikshit has got hoarding all across Delhi claiming development but I don't see any development at all. It's destruction all over in last 15 years. They say that they have constructed 65 flyovers in last 10 years but can a nation be built with flyovers only? In Delhi's 1800 primary schools there are 10 lakhs students, in 1200 secondary schools there are 8 lakh students but there is no teaching taking place in these schools. The lives of 18 lakhs students are being spoiled.

Q: Why is it that AAP has become synonymous with Arvind Kejriwal? Nobody knows either of your state presidents? Don't you think you need to work on that as well?

Kejriwal: See, the problem is that media wants to do interviews of Arvind Kejriwal only. I ask them to speak to Manish, Shazia and other s but they all want to speak to me only. You please speak to them so that people know them.  This is not a one-man party. 7000 volunteers are working for us. No other political party has this kind of workforce.  Let us win Delhi elections first; we will spread the fire across the country.
