In a retaliatory action by the Indian Army following repeated incidents of ceasefire violations from across the border, three-four Pakistani bunkers along the LoC were decimated in missile attacks launched by India from Jammu and Kashmir's Nowshera sector.

A video footage accessed by India TV shows three-four Pakistani bunkers getting destroyed in less than 60 seconds when anti-tank guided missiles were launched by the Indian Army near Krishna Ghati.

In the footage, the soldiers can also be heard saying that the target has been hit successfully.

“Sir the shell has hit the target, we have brought it down,” one soldier can be heard saying.

According to top Army sources, the video is said to be filmed in the first week of April, in which the Army used T 55 caliber ammunition or ATGM.

Earlier this month, two Indian soldiers were martyred in Pakistan firing in Poonch district’s Krishna Ghati and their bodies were mutilated by Pakistan’s Border Action Team (BAT).

India had vowed to exact revenge for the “barbaric” mutilation of the bodies during the well-planned BAT raid and ambush conducted about 250 metres inside the Indian territory.

The attack by the Indian armed forces is a result of Pakistan’s undisrupted atrocities along the LoC, apart from the unending incidents of infiltration in the Valley.

An RTI reply by the Home Ministry has revealed that at least one incident of ceasefire violation by Pakistan took place daily along the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir in 2015 and 2016 in which 23 security personnel lost their lives.

As many as 1,142 terror incidents were reported in the state between 2012 and 2016 in which 236 security personnel and 90 civilians were killed, it said in reply to an RTI query filed by a PTI Bhasha correspondent.

In the same period, 507 terrorists were killed in encounters, it said.

According to the reply, Pakistan breached the truce along the Line of Control 449 times in 2016 as compared to 405 violations in 2015. 23 security personnel were killed in the two-year period.
