New Delhi, Nov 26: Miscreants shot dead a Delhi Police head constable Ram Kishen early this morning at the Jonty border checkpost in Kanjhawala and absconded.

Ram Kishen alongwith three other policemen was checking vehicles at a checkpost, when the assailants shot him in the abdomen and fled in a vehicle at around 2 am.

Ram Kishen was rushed to Brahma Shakti hospital where he was declared dead. His body has been shifted to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital for post mortem.

So far nobody has been arrested.
