Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on January 26 reacted on the Tractor Rally by farmers which turned violent in Delhi. He said that farmers and the Centre, both are responsible for the violence in the national capital. Farmers leaders should have stick to their words regarding the peaceful rally, he said. Raut also raised a question that the Centre has all the machinery then how the protest turned violent.
Protestors pelted stones at the vehicle of BJP National General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya in Diamond Harbour. The incident took place when Vijayvargiya was on his way to South 24 Parganas.
Ethnic Mongolians living in Japan protested in front of the Chinese embassy in Tokyo on September 05. Protestors opposed a policy to push Mandarin-language education in inner Mongolia, an autonomous region in northern China.
Five Delhi Metro stations in the North East district where violence broke out on February 24 will remain closed on February 25, metro officals said.
