Due to the incident, aircraft movement was diverted to the secondary runway, the official of the Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL) said today.
The aircraft was immediately taken to an isolated bay for security check at the Mumbai airport.
The airline source said the carrier has not been regular in paying salaries to pilots, engineers and senior management for quite some time now.

The closure of the main runway, 09/27, is expected to put passengers at inconvenience in view of the suspension of a good number of services by various airlines during the period.
