Raj Thackeray warns Salman Khan of banning his films

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray today warned that if actors like Salman Khan have problems with Pakistani actors being asked to leave India then even their movies will be banned.

“These artists should realise 'Nation first'. If they have so much problem, we will ban their movies too,” Raj Thackeray said while commenting on Salman Khan’s statement in favour of  Pakistani actors working in India.

Coming down heavily on Salman Khan for his comments, Raj Thackeray said that he should go and seek work permit in Pakistan.

“ Salman should understand that this is not like a dance number being shot for a film. Our soldiers are facing real bullets, not fake ones. In Bajrangi Bhaijaan, he went to Pakistan for dropping home a girl. He should not think that he has become a ‘Bajrangi’ in reality and that the Pakistanis have started liking him,” Thackeray said.

Raj Thackeray also wondered as to why only M S Dhoni’s film was banned in Pakistan and not Salman’s.

“We have asked theatre owners not to screen films of Shah Rukh Khan, Salman khan and even Karan Johar,” Raj Thackeray said.

Raj Thackeray also took a pot shot at the Pakistani actor Fuwad Khan for saying that he loved his country.

“ He makes money here but his love is for Pakistan,” Thackeray sarcastically remarked.

Raj Thackeray also blasted Pakistan and said that it will never mend its ways.

On Friday, Salman Khan had said that a difference should be made between an artist and a terrorist. He pointed out that the Pakistani artists working in India were given visas and work permits by the Indian government only.

“They are artists, not terrorists. It’s the government who gives them work permits and visas. Art and terrorism should not be mixed,” Salman Khan had said at an event in New Delhi.
