All these reasons led to regular fights at home. On September 11, the couple had a fight while their son Ayush was out for school. Infuriated Sudhir tried to strangle Deepti.

Police said, during the fight, Sudhir banged her head against the wall which could have resulted into Deepti's death.

Meanwhile, it was time for their son to return from school . Sudhir decided to keep the body in the kitchen. After Ayush returned from school, he was told by his father that his mother had gone out for some work. Sudhir then took Ayush for some snacks and both fell asleep on return.

Next day, Sudhir woke up and decided to chop off the body with big knives that  he used for his thermocol work. He chopped off the body into 7 pieces, wrapped them in thermocol and packed them into three polythene bags.
