The Air Intelligence Unit caught Syed Naveed Abbas with 1-kg gold bar and five 10-tola bars weighing 1.5kg worth Rs. 39.7 lakh.

Similarly, Syed Ummar Hathaf was caught carrying 3 gold bars of 100 gms each valued at Rs. 7.5 lakhs and Mirza Mohammed Abbas carried 2 bars weighing 1kg each worth Rs. 50.2 lakhs.

Shaikh Tahoor had hidden 3 gold bars inside his socks and 4 bars inside his cell phone battery pocket. The gold carried by Tahoor weighed 816gm valued at Rs. 20.51 lakh, Customs officials said.
