New Delhi: Kerala Police has arrested the organisers of 'Kiss of Love' campaign over their alleged involvement in running online sex rackets across Kerala.

According to reports, organizer Rahul Pashupalan and his wife Resmi R Nair are among 8 other people taken into the custody.

The couple was arrested after the police received a tip off that they were involved in supplying minor children to pedophiles.

'Kiss of Love' is a non-violent protest against moral policing which started in Kerala and later spread to other parts of the country.

It was started after a mob of attackers demolished a coffee shop in north Kerala's Kozhikode city on the ground of condemning "alleged immoral activity" of public display of affection by few couples.

The Facebook page called 'Kiss of Love' called forth the youth across Kerala to participate in a protest against moral policing on November 2, 2014, at Marine Drive, Cochin. The movement received widespread support with more than 1.5lakh 'Likes' for the Facebook page.
