New Delhi: A 22-year-old youth allegedly committed suicide by jumping into an open well at Firozeshah Kotla Fort in central Delhi here Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The incident took place at around 3 PM when some passersby saw an unidentified youth climbing up the wall of a well and jumping into it.

"Somebody who saw him jumping in the well informed the security men of the guard following which police was informed.
