BJP president Amit Shah on Sunday inaugurated new Deen Dayal Upadhyaya railway station in the presence of Union Minister Piyush Goyal and CM Yogi Adityanath.
The apparent reference was to the post in Uttar Pradesh, now held by her party’s Yogi Adityanath.
After the meeting with the UP CM Yogi Adityanth, all Mahants in one voice said that they have no complaint with the BJP government in the state.
“Only one voters' list should be there. We constituted a team in UP under Health Min in this regard & asked them to see if it's possible to hold only 1 election & link voters' list to Aadhar card, so that new voters are automatically added to voters' list after they turn 18,” he added.
Yogi Adityanath, born as Ajay Mohan Bisht, reportedly, left his home around the 1990s to join the Ayodhya Ram temple movement.
Yogi Adityanath is the current Chief Minister of UP, in office since 19 March 2017.
