Amid the coronavirus crisis, the Indian Railways catering arm IRCTC on Friday said that food plazas, refreshment rooms, Jan Aahars and cell kitchens and the on board catering services in mail and express trains will remain closed until further notice.
Those served notices amount to 13 per cent of the total onboard catering contracts numbering 358.
Minister of Railways Piyush Goyal in a written reply said catering services were provided in 1256 pairs of trains.
