Modi also did not forget to play the development card. He reminded people that Gujarat get 24*7 electricity while areas like Baghpat are always starved of power. He also said that places like Baghpat can be developed as satellite cities of national capital Delhi.
This was first of the four rallies that Modi is slated to address today.
The second rally will be held in Amroha that is scheduled to begin at 1.30pm.
From Uttar Pradesh, Modi will move over to Haryana where he is scheduled to address a rally in Gohana. This rally is scheduled for 3.15pm.
After Gohana rally, Modi will arrive in Chandigarh and will address a rally at around 5 pm.
Tight security arrangements have been made by UP, Haryana and Chandigarh administration for these rallies.
