Initially it was believed that the weapon used was a gun, but later it got confirmed that it was a gas pistol - a non-lethal weapon largely used for self defense which does not fire bullets but can cause serious harm if fired from close range.
Later the police arrested the 25-year-old attacker, who was also carrying two knives.
