United States President Donald Trump has reportedly received another letter from North Korean leader Kim Jong Un which was described as “very positive” and “very warm” by the White House. The US president is open to another follow-up meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, said White House Secretary Sarah Sanders on Monday.
The meeting is being considered by the US president even after national security adviser John Bolton asserted that the US is still waiting for Pyongyang to take steps towards denuclearization.
The White House however, made it clear that it will not release the letter unless the Korean dictator gives consent to do that.
Sanders said the letter showed a "commitment towards continuing conversations," adding it shows a "further evidence of progress" towards denuclearization.
US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un held a historic summit in Singapore on June 12.
