The national capital on Monday morning witnessed the minimum temperature plunging to a bone-chilling 1.4 degrees Celcius, the lowest in the month since January 1, 2021 while a severe cold wave swept over Northern India.

Delhi weather update: The Indian Railways informed on Monday that as many as 13 trains are running late in the Northern Railway region due to fog.
Trains, flights delayed: According to Indian Railways, at least 26 trains are running late in the Northern Railway region. Meanwhile, the operations of several flights have also been hit due to the inclement weather.

According to data released by Laxmipat Singhania Institute of Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery, Kanpur, 723 heart patients have come to the emergency and outpatient department of the hospital in the past one week.
