New Delhi: Delhi BJP has criticised Arvind Kejriwal for his verbal attack against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lt Governor Najeeb Jung and Amit Shah and said the language used by the chief minister was “disrespectful” and does not reflect political maturity.

“The language used by Arvind Kejriwal against the prime minister, Lt Governor Najeeb Jung and a president of another party is disrespectful, undemocratic and unparliamentary and is unbecoming of a person sitting on the chair of chief minister,” Delhi BJP President Satish Upadhyay told PTI.

Kejriwal in an interview had hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing him of being “revengeful” towards his government and the people of Delhi after BJP's staggering defeat in Delhi polls and had called Jung the BJP's “polling agent”.

He had said, “He does not give time even to Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia or other Delhi ministers for a meeting or take his calls. But if the ‘chowkidar' (watchman) of (BJP President) Amit Shah calls him (LG), he will crawl and go”.

Reacting on these comments, Upadhyay said the language used by kejriwal reflects his arrogance.  “He says he is not Rahul Gandhi.

We don't know what he means by this about the Congress Vice-President. We want to ask whether saying these things reflect political maturity,” Upadhyay commented on AAP leader's allegations that the Centre is trying to corner the Delhi government by “using the LG” and that he is not Rahul Gandhi.
