Ballia (UP), Jun 18: Taking a lesson from the poor performance in recently held Assembly polls, BJP has decided to declare names of its candidates from the state for 2014 Lok Sabha polls much in advance—by the end of this year.
“We will declare name of party candidates by December this year,” BJP state president Lakshmi Kant Bajpai told reporters here.
He said that the party could not get the expected results in Assembly polls due to late declaration of name of party candidates.
In reply to a question he said that considering Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh as a model, the party was trying to revamp its organisation accordingly.
