As much as fans are waiting for the release of their favorite Aamir Khan’s upcoming movie Thugs Of Hindostan, the actor is teasing us by shifting the release date. Viewers have to wait a day more as Mr. Perfectionist has postponed the release date of the movie to 8th November. The makers revealed the release date two days ago when they released the logo of the film. However, Aamir Khan’s reason behind the date change has left us impressed.
According to the reports in DNA, a trade source has revealed, “Aamir knows the business very well and it was he who suggested to the team to release the movie a day after Diwali. He’s well aware that the footfalls in the theaters drop considerably in the evenings on account of Lakshmi Puja. So, he strongly recommended deferring the release by a day to make sure the film gets the bumper opening it’s expected to take.”

Just recently the makers of Thugs of Hindostan treated the fans with the first character motion poster from the film featuring Amitabh Bachchan. The official description of his character reads, “Wading through storms & battles, the commander of Thugs has arrived. Amitabh Bachchan as #Khudabaksh.” Going by the motion poster, it seems Khudabaksh aka Senior Bachchan is the captain of the ship, more like a Pirate commander. The background score and the eagle flying in the poster give a hard-hitting effect and sets the mood right. According to the makers, The Vijay Krishna Acharya directorial is the first Bollywood film to have the sea as the backdrop of the narrative.
