After people refused to pay back the  loans,  the financiers asked money from Pukhraj. The suicide note revealed that he had borrowed money at 10 per cent per month interest.

Pukhraj had accused  Mohit Vyas of Aashiyana Property of seizing his plot and selling it. He has also mentioned names of some of his friends who had refused to pay back the money.
