Fatehabad, Oct 14: A 13-year girl student of Khai Nangal near Ratia, Fatehabad, has alleged that she had been raped for the last four months by a 62-year-old fruit vendor, following which police arrested the accused and sent the girl for medical check.

Meanwhile, the government school has expelled the rape victim, studying in Class 6,  and her two sisters, and has struck off their names from the register.

The rape victim's father told police that  Sohan Lal, the fruit vendor residing in the same village, had been sexually exploiting his daughter for the last four months.

The victim alleged that the fruit vendor used to intimidate her and take her out to the fields to rape her. “This has been going on for four months”, she revealed.

The victim was sent for medical checkup and ultrasound test on Monday.
