Liberal education is emerging as a crucial 21st century educational component, exploring the relationship among sciences and humanities, mathematics and art, and medicine and physics, according to former ISRO chief K Kasturirangan.

After an unsuccessful bid two months ago, India may attempt another soft landing on the Moon by next year-end, probably in November, sources in ISRO said on Thursday. The Indian Space Research Organisation had constituted a high-level committee, headed by S Somanath, Director of Thiruvanathapuram-based Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, the lead centre responsible for all launch vehicle programmes of ISRO, to prepare a report on the proposed Chandrayaan-3.
Replying to media's query if that if the ISRO would attempt another landing on Moon's south pole, Sivan replied, "Definitely". "We want to demonstrate the technology for Vikram lander landing, We are working on plan of action how to go ahead for Vikram Lander landing," the ISRO Chief informed media, who was in national capital to attend IIT-Delhi 50th convocation ceremony
Replying to media's query if that if the ISRO would attempt another landing on Moon's south pole, Sivan replied, "Definitely".
"IIT Delhi and ISRO will jointly set up ISRO Space Technology Cell at IIT Delhi. The cell will work for carrying out focused research projects in the space technology domain with specific deliverables. It is also proposed that IIT Delhi as an Institute becomes academic partner of ISRO in research areas for example Artificial Intelligence (AI), nanotechnology, functional textiles, smart manufacturing or any area of joint interest," Rao told reporters
