This is the first time that board exams are being conducted in 2 terms. Term 1 exams had taken place last year in November-December. While term 1 exams for class 10th were conducted from November 30 to December 11, 2021, term 1 exams from class 12th went on from December 1 to December 22, 2021.
The students who appeared in the improvement exams have taken admissions based on their original results and that should not be disturbed, the apex court observed.
According to the CBSE, this time, the students will be given 20 minute-reading time instead of 15 minutes. The first term will have Multiple Choice Questions and the duration for solving it is 90 minutes.
"CBSE will use advanced data analytics to detect, respond and therefore, in the long run, prevent any irregularities in academic testing across all major CBSE administered exams in the country," the release mentioned
The term 1 exam for class 12 will commence from November 16, while for class 10, the term 1 exam is scheduled to begin from November 17. Download hall ticket at cbse.gov.in
