Chennai, Aug 17:  The administrator of a private school here where a class 1V student drowned in the institution's swimming pool, was arrested here on Friday, police said.

The ‘correspondent' (administrator) is the sixth person to be arrested in connection with the case.

Five persons, including the Physical Education Director of the school, were arrested on August 16.

Police had identified the deceased as Ranjan, son of a Tamil film director, a student of the Padma Seshadri Bala Bhawan at K K Nagar here.

The incident occurred during the swimming period and when trainers noticed him in an unconscious state, they rushed him to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead, police said.
