Beginning from 2012, Ghosh has raped the victim 15 times till now in a lodge, the victim said in her complaint.

In his defence, Ghosh said that he had almost spent Rs. 2 lakh on her and this is the nature of the film industry "kuch pane ke liye kuch khona padta hai".

In 2011, the victim met Ghosh who asked her to submit her portfolio. He rejected the photographs describing them as  "non-glamorous".
