A Mumbai court granted bail to comedian Bharti Singh. She was in custody at Byculla Jail in connection with drug case. Bharti and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa were sent to judicial custody in drug case.
NCB began questioning Haarsh Limbachiya on Saturday and that ended in the early morning hours today. The comedian was arrested on Saturday as per the provisions of the NDPS Act 1986. Both Bharti and her husband have accepted consumption of Ganja, NCB said in a statement.
Around 86.50 gms of banned drug (Marijuana), which is said to be of commercial quantity, was recovered from their home in the raids and the duo has reportedly even confessed to consuming drugs.

On Saturday, a special court in Mumbai adjourned a hearing on an anticipatory bail plea of Prakash to November 10. The special (Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) court also extended the interim relief granted to Prakash in the case and asked her to cooperate with the investigating agency when called.
"Firoz Nadiadwala's wife Shabana Saeed was issued a notice under section 67 of the NDPS Act. She was arrested after her statement was recorded," officials said.
Actress Deepika Padukone's ex-manager Karishma Prakash had applied for anticipatory bail. The NDPS court has given her interim relief from arrest till the hearing of the anticipatory bail application on 7 November.
Fearing arrest after the NCB summoned her in the case, Prakash has filed an anticipatory bail plea. In its reply before the special Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act court, the central agency opposed her pre-arrest bail plea.
"It is true that Karishma Prakash has gone untraceable after being summoned for questioning," said an NCB official related to the probe.
