Live Cricket Score, Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Delhi Capitals, Match 20 Live from Bengaluru: Hello and welcome to our live coverage of Match 20 of the Indian Premier League clash as Royal Challengers Bangalore host Delhi Capitals at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. In charge of a house in complete disorder, Virat Kohli will hope that Royal Challengers Bangalore play in the manner that defines his cricket when they meet Delhi Capitals in the IPL Sunday. RCB have suffered five straight losses in this edition, while the visitors are coming into the game with two wins and three reverses. Delhi also have their fair share of worries, having lost three matches. After making a positive start with a win against three-time champions Mumbai Indians, their journey has been uncomfortable. (Match Scorecard)

DELHI BEAT BANGALORE BY 4 WICKETS

A bit of a hiccup towards the end but still a convincing victory for Delhi.  They played a near-perfect match today and have handed Bangalore their seventh loss on the trot in the League, sixth this season.

19.20 IST: Mohammed Siraj to Axar Patel, FOUR! Axar finishes it with a boundary. Width on offer outside off, Patel reaches out for it and lifts it over covers for a boundary. DELHI WIN BY 4 WICKETS!

19.18 IST: Mohammed Siraj to Rishabh Pant, OUT! Hello? Is there something left in this match? Delhi experienced a mega collapse against Punjab, are we in for something similar? 3 runs still needed as Pant departs. Shortish delivery outside off, Rishabh powers it through the line but it goes aerially and straight down Southee's throat at mid off. The Kiwi takes a sharp catch.

 5 needed off 12 balls.

19.14 IST: Navdeep Saini to Chris Morris, OUT! Morris tries to finish it with one big shot but departs without troubling the scorer. A length ball outside off, Chris tries to pump it over mid off but fails to get the desired elevation. DC 145/5 in 18 Overs

Chris Morris is in next.

19.11 IST: Navdeep Saini to Shreyas Iyer, OUT! Shreyas Iyer won't be there to finish the game. Nonetheless a superlative knock from the Delhi skipper. 19.08 IST: Yuzvendra Chahal to Shreyas Iyer, SIX! Stand and deliver stuff from Shreyas Iyer. This has been a great knock from the Delhi skipper. Full on off, Iyer deposits it to the second tier over long off for a maximum.

19.06 IST: Yuzvendra Chahal to Rishabh Pant, FOUR! Short and wide from Chahal. Asking to be punished. Pant says thank you very much and slashes it through point for a boundary.

Strategic Break - Only a tragic collapse can see Delhi lose this one. They are well on top and require just 19 runs off 24 balls.

19.00 IST: Moeen Ali to Rishabh Pant, FOUR! A mishit really but still the ball speeds away through square leg. Floated one, landing full on off, Pant kneels down for a powerful sweep shot but it takes the inner portion of his blade and finds the fence.

18.58 IST: Navdeep Saini to Shreyas Iyer, FOUR. Poor fielding effort in the deep by Siraj. Short ball around off, Iyer throws his bat at it and it goes off the outer half to third man. Siraj in the deep makes a complete mess as he lets it through for a boundary.

Navdeep Saini is back on attack

18.52 IST: Moeen Ali to Shreyas Iyer, Fifty for Shreyas Iyer, his 11th in the Indian T20 League. Short in length and outside off, Shreyas cracks it off his back foot through point and sprints back for the second run. A captain's knock here from Iyer. DC 111/3 in 13.3 overs

Rishabh Pant walks out at number 5. Delhi need 42 off 41 balls.

18.50 IST: Moeen Ali to Colin Ingram, OUT! Given lbw! The 39-run stand is broken. Moeen delivers a flighted ball in the line of the stumps, Ingram tries to be funky and attempts to play a paddle scoop. Fails to connect and gets hit on the back pad. They appeal and it's a straightforward decision for the umpire. A needless shot, really.

18.48 IST: Yuzvendra Chahal to Shreyas Iyer, FOUR! Slapped! Chahal serves it short and wide outside off, Iyer brings out the square cut yet again and slams it with the spin through backward point. 42 needed off 42 balls.

He makes fine connection and it races away. Negi in the deep rushes across to his right, puts in a valiant dive but fails to pull it back.

18.44 IST: Moeen Ali to Colin Ingram, Rocks back to a short ball and punches it to sweeper cover for a run.

18.40 IST: Pawan Negi to Shreyas Iyer, In the air... SAFE! Shreyas survives. Flatter and shorter ball around leg, Iyer turns inside the crease to pull but it takes the top edge. The ball flies to the left of the keeper who sets off but fails to reach it.  DC 81/2 in 10.1 overs

18.37 IST: Moeen Ali to Shreyas Iyer, FOUR! Nicely played! Floated full ball around off, Iyer gets across the stumps and nicely paddles it down to fine leg for a boundary. Runs continue to come for Delhi.

18.35 IST: Pawan Negi to Shreyas Iyer, FOUR! Short ball won't fetch you wickets every time. It's outside off and Shreyas slaps it through backward point for a boundary.

Colin Ingram is the new batsman out in the middle for Delhi.

18.32 IST: Pawan Negi to Prithvi Shaw, OUT!A wicket against the run of play for Bangalore. Negi drops it short and on middle, the pull shot is on but Shaw fails to control it well. It takes the top edge and flies down to deep mid-wicket. A safe catch from Akshdeep Nath and Kohli is seen pumped up. 81 needed off 70 balls. DC 69/2 in 8.2 Overs

18.29 IST: Mohammed Siraj to Shreyas Iyer, FOUR! Good shot! Once again the length is short and just outside off, Shreyas uses the depth of his crease to create room and whacks it through backward point for a boundary.

18.24 IST: Pawan Negi to Shreyas Iyer, FOUR! Easy pickings! Negi fires in a flatter delivery down the leg side, Shreyas easily puts it away to the fine leg fence.

Strategic break. Delhi are cruising at the moment and Bangalore are really looking very ordinary in the field. 97 runs needed more and the way the current pair is batting, this chase very well end soon. Pawan Negi to bowl after the break.

18.29 IST: Yuzvendra Chahal to Shreyas Iyer, SIX! High and handsome! Chahal tosses it up around off and it's on the fuller side, Shreyas dances down the track and towers it over the bowler's head for a biggie. 50 up for Delhi in no time. DC 53/1 in 5.1 Overs

18.16 IST: FOUR! Not from the middle of the bat but still a boundary. A length ball outside off, Shreyas throws his bat at it and it comes off the inside half. The ball just races after that through mid-wicket and beats the diving attempt from Tim Southee. DC 46/1 in 4.4 overs

18.14 IST: FOUR! Shaw at it again! Shaw is oozing confidence. Saini tries to hit the blockhole but ends up slipping a full toss on middle. Prithvi lines up this delivery and spanks it down the ground for a boundary. DC 41/1 in 4.1 overs

18.13 IST: Flatter and fuller on middle, Shreyas tries to whip it across the line but gets an inside edge onto the pads. It deflects to mid-wicket and they cross for a hesitant single.

18.12 IST: Shaw is timing his shots superbly at the moment. Plants his front foot forward to a full ball around leg and drives it firmly down the ground. De Villiers does the fielding in the deep and the batsmen take a couple of runs.

18.07 IST: FOUR LEG BYE! 20 runs off the over so far. 5th boundary on the trot. Southee bowls this on the pads, Shaw looks to flick but it goes off the pads through fine leg for a boundary. DC 30/1 in 2.5 overs

18.06 IST: FOUR! Four in a row! Shaw is now 'shawing off' ! Once again Southee makes the same mistake. He offers width outside off, Shaw makes the most of it and slaps it through point for a boundary. DC 26/1 in 2.4 overs

18.06 IST: Southee to Shaw, FOUR! Three in a row! Hat-trick of boundaries and Shaw is showing his class. Good length ball outside off, Prithvi smacks it through point for a boundary. DC 22/1 in 2.3 overs

18.05 IST: Southee to Shaw, FOUR! Two in two. Poor delivery this from Southee. Back of a length delivery on middle. The fine leg is inside the circle, Shaw rocks onto his back foot and pulls it wide of the fielder there for a boundary. DC 18/1 in 2.2 overs

18.04 IST: Southee to Shaw, FOUR! The balance on that shot was commendable by Shaw. Full on middle and leg, Shaw whips it through mid-wicket for a boundary. DC 14/1 in 2.1 overs

18.03 IST: Navdeep Saini to Prithvi Shaw, Pitches it up and outside off, Shaw plays a well-timed cover drive but fails to pierce the gap on the off side.

18.00 IST: Dropped by Parthiv! A good attempt by him but that should have been taken. Southee finally gets his line right and bowls it outside off. Some movement there and Iyer outside edges his drive through the line. Patel dives full length to his right but fails to hold on to the catch. He parries it past first slip and they cross.

17.57 IST: FOUR! Superb start from the Delhi skipper. Full in length from Southee outside off, Iyer plays a gorgeous drive through cover-point and Chahal there is late with his dive inside the ring.

* Wonderful bowling effort by Delhi to restrict Bangalore to a below-par total.

* Yuzvendra Chahal walks out at number 10.

17.34 IST: Chris Morris to Mohammed Siraj, OUT! No bat involved and Siraj has to go! Excellent delivery. It's full and on middle, Siraj walks across the stumps with the intention to play the paddle scoop. But he fails to connect properly and seems to have got hit on his left leg hanging in front of the stumps. The appeal is made and the finger goes up. They take the referral but to no use.

17.32 IST: Chris Morris to Mohammed Siraj, Beamer! Issues with the execution of a slower ball as it slips out of Morris' hand and goes over the batsman. A very high full toss and the umpire calls it a no ball. Free Hit loading...

* Mohammed Siraj walks out to bat. Also, Chris Morris to bowl the 19th over of the innings.

17.28 IST: Kagiso Rabada to Pawan Negi, OUT! Pace and bounce, yet another is hunted down. Rabada bends his back and bangs in a short ball in the line of the stumps. Negi leans back and tries to play the ramp shot but it takes the outside edge and goes into the safe gloves of Rishabh Pant. He appeals and then Rabada also turns to appeal. The finger goes up. 3 runs and 5 wickets from the over and it has completely derailed Bangalore. RCB 138/7 in 18 overs

17.26 IST: Kagiso Rabada to Akshdeep Nath, OUT! Nath is dismissed as well. What an over from Rabada! He once again offers a little bit of width outside off and throws the bait. Nath walks into the trap as he tries dabbing it down to third man. Ends up getting an outside edge and Pant grabs the ball safely.

17.24 IST: Kagiso Rabada to Akshdeep Nath, FOUR! Rabada offers width outside off, Nath uses the pace and runs it down fine to third man for a boundary.

* The new man is Pawan Negi.

17.23 IST: Kagiso Rabada to Virat Kohli, OUT Rabada does the magic for Delhi! This is a body blow to the home team and such a big moment in the game. A cross-seam delivery, on a length around off at 142.1 kph, Kohli tries to take on the South African speedster but falls in the process. His idea was right but not the execution. He attempts to power it over the bowler's head but is a bit late in doing so. Mistimes it in the air and Shreyas Iyer comes running across to his left from long on to accept the catch. Quite uncharacteristic knock from Kohli is over.

17.21 IST: Sandeep Lamichhane to Virat Kohli, SIX! Kohli has pressed on the accelerator. Lamichhane feels the pressure and shortens his length on middle and leg. Virat anticipates it early, immediately goes on the back foot and rockets his pull shot over mid-wicket.

17.20 IST: Sandeep Lamichhane to Virat Kohli, SIX. Kohli goes big! A flighted ball around off, Virat goes down on one knee and smokes it over mid-wicket for a biggie. Bangalore need many more!

17.19 ST: Sandeep Lamichhane to Akshdeep Nath, FOUR.

17.15 IST: Chris Morris to Akshdeep Nath, FOUR! Superbly done. Morris follows the batsman down the leg side with a length delivery, Nath skips down the track to convert it into a half-volley and forces his drive through extra cover. A much-needed boundary for Bangalore. RCB 112/4 in 15.4 Overs

* Chris Morris is back on attack

17.13 IST: Sandeep Lamichhane to Akshdeep Nath, FOUR! Well played! Tossed up ball on middle, Nath goes down on one knee and paddle sweeps it fine down the leg side for a boundary.

17.11 IST: Sandeep Lamichhane to Moeen Ali, OUT! Googly does it for the spinner. He dishes it out cleverly outside off, probably sensed the charge from the batsman. Moeen is down the track in a flash, eyeing yet another big shot but the ball turns away to beat him and Rishabh Pant does the rest. A handy knock from the Englishman, he has certainly given some kick to the scoring rate. RCB 103/4 in 14.3 Overs

17.09 IST: Sandeep Lamichhane to Moeen Ali, SIX! Once again Moeen starts the over with a biggie! A flighted ball outside off, Moeen shimmies down the track and thwacks it over long off for a maximum.

* Sandeep Lamichhane is back on.

* Shreyas Iyer has a chat with his bowler. Some change in the field now. Fine leg comes in and mid off drops back.

17.05 IST: Ishant Sharma to Moeen Ali, FOUR! Shot! Nothing much wrong with the delivery, it's a near yorker outside off at 143 kph, Moeen does well to squeeze his drive out past the diving point fielder. 13 runs from the over, so far.

17.04 IST: Ishant Sharma to Moeen Ali, Wide! Ishant tries the slower one but loses his line completely. Ends up serving it short and way down the leg side, Moeen swings and misses.

17.02 IST: Ishant Sharma to Moeen Ali, SIX! A back of a length delivery on middle and off, Moeen hangs on the back foot and muscles it over mid-wicket for a biggie. Good start to the over for Bangalore.

* Ishant Sharma to bowl after the break.

* Strategic break. Delhi continue to be on top in this match and have bowled extremely well to keep the run-rate under check. They are bowling tidily and have picked wickets at regular intervals. However, with Virat Kohli still in the middle, the visiting team cannot afford to get complacent. 7 overs left, let's see which team ends it on a high...

16.56 IST: Axar Patel to Moeen Ali, SIX! Don't even bother looking this one is out of here. Moeen has decided to take the charge now. He comes down the track and whacks this tossed up ball into the stands behind mid-wicket for a mammoth one. RCB 78/3 in 12.1 overs

16.54 IST: Sandeep Lamichhane to Moeen Ali, Floated full outside off, Moeen strides forward and opens the face of his bat at the last moment. He pushes it in the direction of cover-point and crosses for a single.

* The next batsman in is Moeen Ali.

16.50 IST: Axar Patel to Marcus Stoinis, OUT! Stoinis departs! Axar bowls it flatter and quicker around leg, following the batsman, Stoinis tries to pull it big but fails to pack his shot with enough power. An easy catch for Rahul Tewatia at long on. Virat Kohli is not looking too impressed with the shot selection. Bangalore lose their third wicket and need someone to support their skipper in the middle.

16.45 IST: Sandeep Lamichhane to Marcus Stoinis, SIX! The spinner from Nepal is greeted with a biggie by the Australian batsman. A tossed up delivery landing full on middle, the length is quite to the liking of Stoinis who takes full toll and sends it packing over long on for a maximum.

* Strategic Time-out, Delhi on top here in Bengaluru. They have got two big wickets and have also kept the scoring rate at under 6. Bangalore skipper, Virat Kohli holds the key here for Bangalore. Him and Marcus Stoinis will not just need to build a partnership, they will have to do so at a very good rate as well.

16.42 IST: Axar Patel to Marcus Stoinis, Slower through the air, bowled with a round-arm action. It lands full and on middle, Marcus drives it to long off for a run.

16.39 IST: Kagiso Rabada to Virat Kohli, In the air... SAFE! Rabada digs in a short ball on off, well-directed at the body of the batsman, Kohli fails to get any timing on his pull shot and top edges it. It flies and lands towards mid off as Rabada loses his balance in the followthrough. A single taken to complete yet another quiet over.

16.35 IST: Axar Patel to Marcus Stoinis, Flatter on off, skidding back in, Stoinis tries defending but gets an inside edge onto the pads. It rolls to covers. Just 2 from the over. Almost identical to the way the next over went after the fall of the first wicket. RCB 42/2 in 7 overs

16.34 IST: Axar Patel to Marcus Stoinis, Arm ball on off, skidding back in, Marcus blocks it back from the crease.

* The new man in is Marcus Stoinis. Also change in bowling. Spinner introduced for the first time today. Axar Patel to have a go with the ball.

16.30 IST: Kagiso Rabada to AB de Villiers, OUT! Kagiso Rabada has hunted down the prized scalp of AB de Villiers. Just one more ball to go in the Powerplay and ABD attempts to gather a biggie from it. Kagiso though has smartly served another slower one at 121.7 kph. It's on a length and de Villiers tries to go downtown without accounting for the variation in pace. RCB 40/2 in 6 overs

* Kagiso Rabada is introduced into the attack.

16.24 IST: Ishant Sharma to AB de Villiers, FOUR! What a shot! The bowler tries his best to keep the line closer to the batsman but still ABD manages to create room after charging down the track. After that, the South African legend packs a punch past the diving cover fielder for a boundary. RCB 36/1 in 5 Overs

16.19 IST: Chris Morris to AB de Villiers, SIX! Connects and connects supremely this time. Morris delivers a short ball on off, de Villiers immediately gets on top of the bounce and powers it over mid-wicket for a biggie. RCB 25/1 in 3.4 Overs

16.14 IST: Ishant Sharma to AB de Villiers, Aerial but safe! Ishant manages to deceive the batsman with a slower one. It's a full ball on middle at 123 kph, a knuckle delivery, de Villiers picks it late and flicks it aerially towards mid-wicket. No fielder there inside the ring and the mid on fielder does the fielding. A single is pinched as that very fielder misses his shy at the bowler's end.

16.13 IST: Ishant Sharma to AB de Villiers, Movement off the surface. A good length ball on off, shaping back in after landing, de Villiers eases it down off his pads to short fine leg.

* AB de Villers walks out at number 3 to a huge reception from the Bengaluru crowd.

16.11 IST: Chris Morris to Parthiv Patel, OUT! The extra ball in the over results in a wicket. Now, that's a rarity. Also, Parthiv falling cheaply has been a rarity this season. A delivery landing on a length and wide outside off, Parthiv throws his bat at it as he probably tries to go over covers. But he ends up slicing it down to third man. Sandeep Lamichhane in the deep makes no mistake and Morris ends a pretty ordinary over with a wicket. RCB 16/1 in 2 overs

16.08 IST: Chris Morris to Virat Kohli, FOUR! Edgy! Nervy beginning for Kohli. Back of a length delivery outside off, Kohli pushes inside the line tentatively as his intention probably was to run it down to third man. However, it comes from the outer half of his blade due to the extra bounce and flies past the diving wide slip fielder for a boundary.

* No Kagiso Rabada, it's Chris Morris to bowl from the other end. A wide slip stays.

16.04 IST: Ishant Sharma to Parthiv Patel, FOUR! No stopping this one! After consistently bowling in the corridor outside off, Ishant has changed his line for reasons best known to him. A length ball on middle and leg and Patel shows no qualms in heaving it over mid-wicket for a boundary. RCB 6/0 in 0.5 Over

16.03 IST: Ishant Sharma to Parthiv Patel, Bangalore are away! Sharma bowls a shortish ball on middle, Patel pulls it behind square leg and Colin Ingram in the deep makes a fine stop near the fence. Saves two for his side.

16.01 IST: Ishant Sharma to Parthiv Patel, Oh, good bounce! Ishant starts with angling a back of a length delivery outside off. Parthiv sticks back to flat-bat it through the line but misses.

* All in readiness! The umpires come out on the ground. The Delhi unit is in a huddle and now out walk the opening batsmen of Bangalore - Parthiv Patel and Virat Kohli. Ishant Sharma to begin proceedings with the ball. Here we go...

* Bangalore (Playing XI) - Parthiv Patel(WK), Virat Kohli(C), AB de Villiers, Marcus Stoinis, Moeen Ali, Akshdeep Nath, Pawan Negi, Tim Southee, Navdeep Saini, Yuzvendra Chahal, Mohammed Siraj.

* Delhi (Playing XI) - Prithvi Shaw, Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer(C), Rishabh Pant(WK), Colin Ingram, Rahul Tewatia, Chris Morris, Axar Patel, Kagiso Rabada, Ishant Sharma, Sandeep Lamichhane.

* Bangalore skipper, Virat Kohli also wanted to bowl as he was looking forward to chasing this time around. Informs that they have retained the last XI and have taken a lot of heart from the last match. Feels that they need to enjoy the game and show more composure in the last few overs.

* Delhi captain, Shreyas Iyer says there is a bit of grass on the pitch and it looks like a good wicket. Feels it is difficult to know how much is enough while batting first and hence he wants to chase. Informs they are unchanged as the team wants to stick with the players and not change according to the pitch as he thinks it is important to maintain the balance in T20s.

15.36 IST: Battle between the two skippers is onn.

15.32 IST: Both teams make no changes in the playing XI despite heavy losses in previous matches

Brief Preview: It's now or never for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) when they take on Delhi Capitals who are also looking to get back to winning ways, in an Indian Premier League (IPL) clash on Sunday. After losing their first five games, RCB find themselves at the bottom of the eight-team points table. On Friday night, they looked to be in the groove with star batsmen Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers roaring back to form. Both batsmen hit belligerent half-centuries as RCB posted a mammoth 205/3 after being asked to bat first by the Kolkata Knight Riders. (Read Full Preview Here)
