Combined with a safe pair of gloves, Klaasen gives Proteas added ammunition late in the innings with his booming drives and huge sixes. His presence in the middle order gives the likes of Dean Elgar and Hashim Amla the cushion to build their innings before going big at the end. Especially since their superstar AB de Villiers has bid adieu to the game in 2018.
