Check out the list of 6 cricketers who announced their retirement in the last two months. The list includes the likes of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, who retired from Tests while the likes of Heinrich Klaasen and Nicholas Pooran announced their retirement from all formats.

Virat Kohli retired from Test cricket on May 12, 2025. He was expected to travel to England for the five-match series, but shortly before the selectors announced the squad, Kohli revealed this decision to call time. He featured against Railways in the Ranji Trophy earlier in the year, which is one of the reasons why Kohli was expected to continue.

Rohit has played 67 Test matches, scoring 4301 runs at an average of 40.57.

Glenn Maxwell announced his retirement from ODI cricket on June 2. However, he remains available for T20 cricket. The all-rounder has scored 3990 runs in 136 innings he has played in ODI cricket. The 36-year-old has also picked 77 wickets in the format.

Given that he is only 29 years old, Pooran's decision to retire from international cricket was shocking. Now, the cricketer wants to focus only on franchise-based tournaments.
