The ceremony of National Film Awards 2018 took place yesterday and the artists were praised for their contribution in cinema. Late veteran actress Sridevi was honoured with Best Actor (female) award for her spectacular performance in Mom.

Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor and her daughters Khushi Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor received the late actress’ National Award.

Janhvi, who will be seen making her Bollywood debut with Dhadak, donned her mother’s saree. Needless to say, the lady looked drop dead gorgeous at the ceremony.

Pankaj Tripathi got a Special Mention for delivering an amazing performance in Rajkummar Rao starrer Newton whereas Divya Dutta was honoured with the award for Best Supporting Role for Irada. Both the actors can be seen sharing some light moments.

Oscar-winning musician AR Rahman received the National Awards for Best Music Director for background score in Sridevi’s Mom and for Kaatru Veliyidai.

Late veteran actor Vinod Khanna was honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. His son Akshaye Khanna and wife Kavita Khanna received the award on his behalf. Both of them can be seen having conversation.
