According to police, Manish's wife Sapna was having an extra-marital affair with Harsh.  Her husband Manish had tried to extract call details of Sapna's mobile numbers for which he had taken help from his cousins.

But after the telecom service provider denied access to Sapna's call details, Manish did not take any further action. After learning about this,  Sapna entered into a fight with Manish after which she was strictly instructed to not to stay in touch with Harsh.
