According to the 25-year-old woman, she went to the hospital in January 2011 with her husband. The dentist asked her to come a few days later. When the woman went to the hospital, the dentist allegedly gave her an injection in the mouth, used a spray and then raped her in a semi-conscious state, says the victim.
The dentist also made an MMS of the sex act, and began blackmailing her, says the victim.
The woman complained to the doctor's family, who promised that they would get their son married to her after getting a divorce from her husband.
The doctor had sexual intercourse with the woman several times, says the victim. After the woman took divorce from her husband, and told the doctor that she was several months pregnant, the dentist refused to marry her, says the woman.
Dr Gaurav rubbished charges of repeated rapes and blackmail. He said, it was all consensual sex.
The dentist has been arrested and sent to two days' judicial custody.
