A naxal was killed in an encounter with security forces in the forests of Chhattisgarh's insurgency-hit Sukma district on Saturday morning, police said.
The two were involved in murder, attacks on police and planting explosives to target security forces, Sinha said.
"Four bodies of Maoists in uniform, one Insas rifle and two 303 rifle were recovered," said a CRPF official.
Maoists frequently use IEDs or home-made bombs to target security personnel in Chhattisgarh.
According to news agency ANI, two rifles have been recovered.
The encounter is still on as more Naxals are expected to be hidden in the area.
According to latest updates, the injured soldiers have been admitted to a hospital near Raipur for treatment.
At least two Naxals, including a woman, were killed in an encounter with security forces in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh.
They were allegedly involved in several naxal-related incidents, including planting of IED (Improvised Explosive Device) on Dornapal-Jagargunda road in September last year.
