Jarange had alleged that Devendra Fadnavis was "trying to kill" him. He had also claimed that a poisoning attempt was made against him through saline. The BJP raised the issue in the Maharashtra Maharashtra legislative council and blamed Sharad Pawar and his party for his remarks.
