West Bengal allows 10 per cent reservation for government jobs
India | July 16, 2019 8:28 ISTAccording to a notification by the West Bengal government, people who are not covered under reservation schemes for scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and other backward classes, will get 10 per cent reservation in direct recruitment in civil posts and services of the state government, along with admissions to educational institutions in the state. Gross annual income is one of the criteria to avail the reservation.
