While registering at e-Mitra, the beneficiary will only have to pay 850 rupees as the premium amount.The Chief Minister said that the state government will bear Rs 3 thousand 500 crores and people will only have to pay Rs 850 for this welfare initiative.The government would provide this health insurance to about 1 crore 10 lakh families falling under the ambit of National Food Security and Socio Economic Census-2011, as well as 13 lakh small and marginal farmers and families of more than 4 lakh contract workers without any premium. Other families will be able to avail insurance for just Rs 850.
