    'Early detection, timely management push recovery rate of COVID-19 patients over 60% in India'

    Early detection and a timely clinical management of COVID-19 cases have resulted in increasing daily recoveries, with the recovery rate of coronavirus patients crossing 60 per cent in the country on Friday, the Union health ministry said.

    Chandigarh topped the list of states with highest COVID-19 recovery rate in India, data released by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare showed today. With coronavirus cases crossing the 6-lakh mark to reach 604,641 cases, a total of 3,59,859 patients have recovered from the highly-infectious disease.

Bengaluru on June 23 had 1556 COVID-19 cases which doubled to 3,419 cases on June 28 which is 25.92 per cent of total cases in Karnataka.

    The World Health Organisation (WHO) on Friday acknowledged that COVID-19 survivors in India offered a "symbol a hope" amid an increasing recovery rate. According to an update published by the Ministry of Health Friday morning, at least 10386 people were cured from COVID-19 in 24 hours. Of the 380,532 who tested positive for the virus in the country, 204,711 patients have recovered so far. Nearly 54 percent of the total coronavirus cases were cured since the outbreak.
