With the passsing away of Sushma Swaraj, netizens on Wednesday started demanding renaming of 'Akbar Bhawan' -- where the Overseas Indian Affairs-II Division of Ministry of External Affairs -- is housed to 'Swaraj Bhawan'.Former External Affairs Minister Swaraj passed away late on Tuesday after suffering a cardiac arrest. She was 67.

In a letter to Sushma Swaraj's husband Swaraj Kaushal, Rahul Gandhi said, "I am deeply saddened by the untimely demise of your wife, Sushma Swaraj ji. We have lost an extraordinary parliamentarian and a gifted orator."

Almost 2,000 police personnel were deployed across central Delhi and southeast Delhi to ensure that the funeral procession from BJP headquarters to Lodhi Road crematorium moved without any hitch, a senior officer said.

The 67-year-old veteran BJP leader Sushma Swaraj passed away on Tuesday night following a cardiac arrest. Her body was kept at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) headquarters in the heart of the capital for public to pay homage.
