Speaking at the rally, Punjab Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal asked the BJP and INLD to resolve their differences and join hands in upcoming Lok Sabha elections in order to unite and strengthen anti-Congress forces.
Badal accused the Congress of misusing the CBI for falsely implicating the leaders of opposition parties.
Badal said that the previous Congress government led by Capt Amarinder Singh in Punjab made all efforts to politically finish his family by involving them in false cases but “political vendetta” did not help the party and the people of Punjab again made him the Chief Minister.
