Jaidev, posted in North Delhi's Dariaganj police station, used to wear a towel every morning in Chander Lok, Durgapuri, and make obscene comments by stripping in front of women and children. Jaidev used to stay with his family, and his brother Jagdev and son Suraj Bhan also work as constables in Delhi Police. Jaidev's neighbour Satyadev is a retired Delhi Police constable. Satyadev's family members reported to the local police about the obscene antics of the constable.
Joint commissioner, North-East range Sanjay Beniwal send an Additional DCP to record the statements of women in the neighbourhood. The women confirmed that the constable used to regularly strip in front of them.
