Urmila Matondkar, is an Indian film actress, television personality and politician, primarily known for her work in Hindi cinema. She debuted as child artist in 1980, in a Marathi movie, Zaakol. She made her hindi film debute with the drama Kalyug in 1981. Matondkar established herself as a leading actress of contemporary Hindi cinema by featuring in Varma's musical romance Rangeela.
