The police reported that the accused went to the cake shop and asked for donation from the shop owner. Sachin Paldate told that he had agreed to give them Rs. 1000 but once he opened the cash drawer the accused hypnotized him and he kept handing over Rs. 500 notes till the amount totaled to be Rs. 5000.
