Based on the woman's complaint, the police registered an FIR on January 30 under sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 376 (rape) and 377 (sodomy) of the Indian Penal Code and arrested the accused on February 2, the police officer further said.
The matter came to light after the teacher shared her ordeal with her husband. The couple filed a case after that the police arrested the accused who was the owner of the school.
According to the police, the victim and accused knew each other and he committed the crime at his residence in Noida.
According to the victim's complaint, she had gone to the City Police Station about a month and a half ago to report a fraud incident and since SHO Bijender Rathee started calling her on the pretext of inquiry.
The woman worked with some caterers and was on her way home from work when the accused approached her, and one of them told her that he wanted to speak to her in connection with work.
The victim's decomposed body was found on the thirteenth floor of a vacant building in the HDIL compound.
According to the police, the victim had gone to a temple with her brother in law near Mauje Somatane village.
On October 11, the victim filed a complaint against the accused at the Hauz Khas police station after which the police registered an FIR under Sections 376 and 377 of the Indian Penal Code.
