Tirumala Lord Balaji temple received hundi income of Rs 1.02 crores in a day on Saturday. It was for the first time since its reopening post lockdown that the hundi income crossed Rs 1 crore in one day.
As many as 17 staff members of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) that governs the shrine of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala, near Tirupati, have tested positive for COVID-19, a top functionary of the TTD board said.
