    NCB questioning Madhu Mantana and Jaya Saha together: Sources

    The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has widened its probe into the drugs case related to Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death. As the agency grilled Jaya Saha on the second consecutive day on Tuesday, more big names like actress Dia Mirza and producer Madhu Mantena surfaced. Earlier, NCB found connections of actress Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor and others with drugs peddlers after they retrieved Jaya Saha's WhatsApp chats. NCB summoned Deepika's manager Karishma Prakash to join the drugs probe but she skipped it owning to bad health. KWAN CEO Dhruv Chitgopekar was also called for questioning. Today, NCB continued to quiz Jaya Saha and Dhruv. Film producer Madhu Mantena arrived at NCB office at 12 pm for interrogation in the Bollywood drug probe.

    During NCB interrogation, talent manager Jaya Saha admitted that she arranged CBD oil for actress Shraddha Kapoor, Rhea Chakraborty, late actor Sushant Singh Rajput as well as producer Madhu Mantena Verma. She has claimed that she bought the CBD oil online and it is not banned. She also said that even doctors prescribe CBD oil to those who suffer from anxiety. She further said that she is not in contact with any drug peddler and denied all other allegations.

    The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), probing drugs angle in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, has asked the actor's former manager Shruti Modi and his talent manager Jaya Saha to appear before it today, an official said on Sunday. Shruti Modi's questioning was postponed on September 16 after a member of the NCB's Special Investigation Team (SIT) team had tested positive for coronavirus.
