Government schools in Delhi for the remaining classes (Nursery to Class 8) resumed offline classes from today with strict adherence to Covid guidelines.
In an order, the DoE said that those who have not received their vaccine dose by October 15, will be treated as on leave till the administration of first dose of vaccine.
The panel, constituted to chalk out a detailed plan and standard operating procedures (SOPS) for reopening schools, also noted that attendance of senior class students has increased up to 80 per cent, and around 95 per cent teachers and school staff have been vaccinated against COVID-19

Schools in the national capital for classes 9 to 12 re-opened on September 1 after a prolonged closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to officials, the 40-minute classes will be conducted every day for classes six to eight and twice a week for classes nine to 12.
The physical classes for 9 and 11 were earlier allowed to function from September 1. Meanwhile, the schools for classes 10 and 12 were reopened early, and students were allowed for work related to admission and practical activities for board exam
"Under this agreement, international experts will visit our schools, our teachers will be trained accordingly, a student assessment programme will be planned out and Delhi's schools will be verified and certified, all as per international standards," Kejriwal said
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia announced on Friday announced that schools in the national capital will reopen from September 1 for Classes IX to XII. This has drawn mixed responses from the parents.

Classes for 9 to 12 will begin from September 1 and classes for 6 to 8 will begin from September 8, as reported by news agency ANI.

A day after allowing Class 10 to 12 students to visit schools, the Delhi government on Monday issued guidelines to be followed amid the coronavirus pandemic.
