The two-member CoA comprising Vinod Rai and Diana Edulji, on Thursday filed their eighth status report in the Supreme Court, where they have recommended election for a fresh set of office-bearers.
The impression in BCCI circle is that COA will recommend removal of three principal office-bearers - acting president CK Khanna, acting secretary Amitabh Chaudhary and treasurer Aniruddh Chaudhry.
The proposed Test match between India and West Indies became a contentious issue after COA chief Vinod Rai complained of being kept in dark about the plan.
The matter was being talked about in hushed tones in the BCCI circle but has now come out in the open after treasurer Chaudhry's letter.
BCCI CEO Rahul Johri said he was looking forward to the historic clash, which will take place in the 2018-19 season, and further details of the match would be announced soon.
On the proposed pay hike, COA chief Rai did not spell out the remuneration plan but said that both Kohli and Dhoni were in agreement with the structure which is being worked out.
Currently the Indian players earn less than 8 percent (7.8 percent) of BCCI revenues and that is something that Vinod Rai wants to change.
